Every child is different. I have always been struck by how much personality a kid comes out with. Being their parent is as much about teaching them as it is about learning who they are. This is what I feel my job is. To show you who they are through images. Unfortunately, sometimes who they are doesn't really match the kind of image you wanted to begin with.
I have seen every amount of cooing, jumping around like idiots, begging, bribing, trickery, reverse psychology, yelling, and pandering that you can imagine. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But when it comes down to it, if a child is strong willed and has made up his mind; what can we do?
Seriously, I'm asking you. What can we do?
I have a few tricks up my sleeve but I can always learn and grow. Besides, Mom knows best. So, Calling all Moms with stubborn children: Did you have trouble with your last family portrait? And what did you do to get the shot you wanted?
